Summer School for Students is over

ADA UniveADA University and “Tamiz Shahar” JSC held the closing ceremony of their jointly organized summer school. During a month-long summer school, students got detailed information about environmental impacts of waste, food waste reduction, recycling, environmental project management, waste-to-energy. They also participated in lectures on various subjects. Students visited recycling companies, moreover, various intellectual games and master classes were organized for them. During the summer school a picnic festival has been organized at Boyukshor Park. 160 students attending summer school received certificates.
Vice-rector of the university, Fariz Ismayilov emphasized that teenagers have gained useful information at educational and entertaining camp by underlining that summer school meets the educational standards of ADA University. He also added that excursions to the plants of “Tamiz Shahar” JSC, Balakhani Industrial Park and “Waste to Art” museum have improved teenagers’ skills on environmental protection and waste management.
Etibar Abbasov, the Chairman of the Executive Board of “Tamiz Shahar” JSC informed about advantages of summer camps for teenagers and young people. He also mentioned that young people often choose their future careers in such schools.
