The determination and will of the Azerbaijani nation, their economic strength, modern army construction, and their's unity and power were important factors in ensuring the victory of our country. Inspired by the rich statehood and military history of our great ancestors, the Azerbaijani nation wrote another glorious chronicle of heroism, proving to the world that they were victorious people and won a historic victory over the enemy at the end of the 44-day Patriotic War.
Azerbaijan Journalists Network PU, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, “Azerkhalcha” JSC, and “Tamiz Shahar” JSC are launching a special project on the anniversary of the Patriotic War, which was forever engraved in our memories. "Karabakh in a carpet pattern" is a social project with the participation of Azerkhalcha JSC, where the citizens were offered the opportunity to make a knot on the "Karabakh carpet", which will be transported to various regions of the county from September 28 to November 1, 2021. As part of a social project planned to involve a large number of people both in Baku and in the regions and every carpet's loop woven by them, will demonstrate the hard work, unity, and equality of every Azerbaijani in the Great Patriotic War. During the project, there will be made a series of videos and a short documentary "Karabakh in a carpet pattern".
Along with the project partners, employees of Azerkhalcha OJSC, who took part in the Patriotic War, also attended the opening ceremony on September 28. Emin Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of Azerkhalcha JSC, opened the ceremony, greeted everyone, and spoke about the important points of the project. Then Etibar Abbasov, Chairman of the Board of Tamiz Shahar JSC, Ayaz Mirzayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Journalists Network Public Union, and Orkhan Jabbarov, a member of the union and head of the"Karabakh in a carpet pattern" project expressed their gratification and public support for the project. Among the participants of the event were the director of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum Shirin Malikova, the chairman of the board of the State Historical-Architectural Reserve "Icheri Sheher" Askar Alakbarov, and the members and employees of the board of "Azerkhalcha" JSC.
