Summer camp organized by ADA University and “Tamiz Shahar” JSC has been launched today.
During his participation in the opening ceremony President of the ADA University Foundation Natig Hajiyev stressed that this summer camp meets educational standards of the university and teenagers will have a chance to get valuable knowledge.
Head of the department of “Tamiz Shahar” JSC Sabit Zeyniyev talked about the advantages of the summer camps in the current and future life of the young people. Most of the time the young people make decision about their future careers during this kind of camps. Some of the participants from past camps had already been hired by the Company.
40 schoolchildren between 9-14 years old will be in the camp till the 28th of July.
The camp will consist of educational and creative programs. Campers will have a chance to improve logical thinking skills, to expand their outlook and to make new friends. They will be trained on communication, media, photography, computer software and on other subjects.
At the same time, schoolchildren will participate in the trainings about general waste management, environmental protection, alternative energy acquired from waste and waste management in Baku. Study tour will be arranged to Balakhani Material Recovery Facility, Baku Waste to Energy Plant and Balakhani Industrial Park and they will get acquainted with the real process. The participants will visit International Museum “From Waste to Art” located in Gala settlement. They will learn here how to prepare different things from waste and useful materials.
