“Tamiz Shahar” JSC has organized virtual tour for Azerbaijani gymnasts

“Tamiz Shahar” JSC organized a lecture on waste management and a 360-degree virtual tour to “Waste to art” museum for athletes of the Azerbaijani team in National Gymnastics Arena.
Gymnasts were informed about the activities of the Company by the representatives of “Tamiz Shahar” JSC. It was noted that Baku Waste To Energy Plant, one of the Europe’s most modern facilities, Balakhani Material Recovery Facility constructed with German technologies and Balakhani landfill, fully complying with sanitary norms are being operated under management of “Tamiz Shahar” JSC.
At the same time, the athletes were informed about the project of ecological rehabilitation of Absheron lakes. It was mentioned that about 300 hectares of the lake located near the Olympic Stadium were rehabilitated in the first phase of complex rehabilitation of Boyukshor Lake.
Afterwards, “Waste to Art” Museum located at Gala settlement, was brought into the attention of athletes. It was noted that artworks of more than 80 artists from 30 countries are exhibited in this museum which is established with the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2015. Taking into consideration high public interest in this museum, a special 360-degree virtual reality tour is organized for those who can not come here and everyone can take part in this tour by visiting www.tamizshahar.az.
Finally, athletes participated in a 360-degree virtual tour of the “Waste to Art” Museum using special virtual glasses.
